Fuzzy light effect in Fireworks

Fuzzy Light Blending Mode is also one of Fireworks' exceptional feature. This tutorial centers around ‘Fuzzy Light’ blending mode and the final effect is as shown below.

Now braze yourself and follow the steps below

Create a new canvas of size 900px by 900px with background color of hexcode ‘#333333’

Create a vector square of 900px by 900px with radial fill as shown below

Select this vector square and change the layer blending mode to ‘Fuzzy Light’

Type in some big size text ‘alphebet or number’ in white and provide glow effect of same color (white)

Now select this text and change the blending mode to ‘Fuzzy Light’

Type in more text and cover the entire canvas

To provide a finishing look, I drew a curve with oil splatter stroke and provided ‘Gaussian Blur’ filter

Here ends this tutorial and I am sure now we understand the importance of ‘Fuzzy Light’ blending mode. To be frank, I hadn’t tried or used this blending mode for a very long time and hadn’t known its importance too. So Hurry! Don't wait too long...
