Creating Ink blot effect in fireworks is extremely easy. To create this above effect I played around with strokes like “unnatural viscous alien paint”, “oil bristle” and “oil splatter”. I Also tried customising strokes by entering into stroke options button which is below all the stroke categories.

Simple steps I used to create the above effect.

• Typed text in desired font
  
  
• Drew simple small lines randomly over the text in the same color as used for text and played around / used different strokes like  “unnatural viscous alien paint”, “oil bristle” and “oil splatter”.
