This is our first tutorial in Adobe fireworks CS5 and we are trying to create retro/ vintage effect to photographs.

There is no hard and fast rule to create vintage effect, you can just consider this as one of the methods to obtain retro effect. So happy retroing 

Creating Ink blot effect in fireworks is extremely easy. To create this above effect I played around with strokes like “unnatural viscous alien paint”, “oil bristle” and “oil splatter”.
